Escape the noise and traffic of city life at our inn located in the woods of the Hiawatha National Forest on serene Sixteen Mile Lake. The owners were attracted to the area when they would come here on their own vacations. When you visit, you'll see why. It's absolutely gorgeous. You can watch a variety of wildlife and go fishing in the lake. You may even see eagles fly over and fish for their own meals. There is even an active beaver lodge.
An Information Source Book is provided to give information on attractions and activities in Munising and the surrounding area. Outdoor activities abound. There are many trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling and ORV riding. There is also boating on the lake with the boats provided and fishing.
